Mary Ann met Robert on October 27, 1995. They were both coming out of serious relationships and their best friends decided it was time to get out into the "real world" again. They met at an oldies dance. There they were, two lost souls, with romance being the last thing either of them were looking for in the middle of a dance club. They decided to go outside and talk ..... until the club closed!! These talks have continued ever since that day. According to Mary Ann, Robert made the first anniversary of the day they met really special. That was the day he proposed to her. They have not set a wedding date yet, but are planning on sometime before the next century.
