Loo met the love of her life over the Internet. Robert lived in North Carolina and she lives in Australia. They fell in love over a few short weeks and decided they needed to be togther forever. Robert gave up his family, country, friends and work to move to Australia to be with Loo. They were engaged on October 24, 1997 with an April 25, 1998 wedding date set.
